As 'Furphy's Lore', we will be playing our unique brand of Australian traditional material - catchy dance tunes, sweet and singular songs, the odd poem to warm the cafe crowd.

If this sounds like you on a lazy Sunday morning then maybe we'll see you at the historic Beekeepers Inn for a coffee, hot brekkie or perhaps a slice of date and walnut sourdough with butter and honey... and don't forget to taste the many honey varieties on offer while you're there.

Banquet Menu & Festival Programme

What an evening it's going to be! A sumptuous Medieval Banquet to enjoy with live entertainment from ourselves (Furphy's Lore) and Tom Foolery, the lively Court Jester.

Take a stroll through the Viking Village during the daytime festivities, cheer for a favoured knight in the Jousting and Skills at Arms presentations, witness skilled archery and Viking re-enactment battles at the Showground. The Young Knight School is bound to be a favourite with the young visitors.

In the main street, see the talented dancing by local dance groups and browse the extended street market offers a wide range of products, including products with a Medieval theme.

Come dance along as the local favourite band, Felix Albert & Gentlemanly Two, rock and roll on the main stage. When it's time for the Grand Street Parade led by Canobolas Pipe Band, performers and costumed visitors/attendees can join in. There are Costume prizes for parade participants and the best-dressed stall vendors, sponsored by local businesses.
